Silversea food, wine, opera and ballet voyages

The luxury Italian cruise line Silversea is raising the bar for cultural enrichment with special food, wine, opera and ballet voyages.

These special themed cruises called “Exclusively Yours — Enriched Voyages” will take place from September to October 2016 onboard the Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Whisper, Silver Shadow and Silver Spirit.

The Silversea food, wine, opera and ballet voyages will include breathtaking opera shows performed by the world-renowned Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan. As well as classic ballet performances by acclaimed soloists from the esteemed State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.

Wine-buffs will enjoy strolling through intimate vineyards and taking part in exclusive tastings. Guests even have the chance to get their own sommelier’s certificate! Other highlights include an optional winery excursion in Santorini, Greece.

Foodies will revel in culinary voyages hosted by renowned Relais & Châteaux Chefs. Head chef of the Michelin-starred Le Candille restaurant at Le Mas Candille hotel in Provence, France, and Silvia Regi Baracchi, chef of the Michellin-starred Il Faconiere restaurant in Tuscany, Italy, will combine their culinary talents to present a program of informative cooking demonstrations and grand gourmet dinners on the Silver Spirit.

Even bridge enthusiasts are catered for with a special transatlantic Bridge Cruise on the Silver Wind. Featuring American Contract Bridge League life masters, guests can earn ACBL master points, attend seminars, and meet other bridge players from around the world.
