A week at sea with the person steering the brand
Most luxury cruise lines keep their executives ashore. Explora Journeys is trying something different. Anna Nash, the brand’s president, will host its first President’s Journey aboard Explora II, a seven-night sailing from Barcelona to Tenerife departing December 9, 2026. She designed the itinerary herself, and she is coming aboard to listen.

Part of A Serene Mediterranean, Explora’s Winter 2026–2027 Journeys Collection, the voyage brings together longtime guests and first-timers. Nash will be on board from December 9 to 15.
Hospitality that starts with a conversation
Nash has spent more than two decades in luxury travel, mostly outside the cruise industry. Guests can expect informal time with her on morning walks and at intimate dinners, plus focused conversations with Nash and members of the leadership team about what matters most to them at sea.
“For me, hospitality begins with listening. It is about taking the time to understand what guests value, what inspires them and what they would like their future Journeys with us to look like.”
Explora Journeys president, Anna Nash.

Gibraltar, behind closed doors
In Gibraltar, a destination experience created for this voyage pairs a scenic drive and a walk through the Rock’s World War II tunnels with a visit to The Convent, the historic official residence of the Governor of Gibraltar.
Sunset at Casablanca’s Royal Mansour
Explora II stays overnight in Casablanca. That evening, Nash joins guests for a sunset cocktail at the Royal Mansour Casablanca, a five-star hotel and one of the city’s most celebrated addresses. The complimentary signature Destination Experience is intimate and limited in capacity, and the following day is free for independent exploration.

The Luminaries on board
The enrichment program features Lewis Pugh, UN Patron of the Ocean and world-record-holding endurance swimmer; Annabel Croft, former British number one tennis player and broadcaster; journalist Matt Barbet; and ocean travel destination expert Gail Packer. Explora Club Members receive priority access to selected experiences and invitations to invitation-only gatherings.
Why the Mediterranean in winter
Once the summer crowds disperse, the Mediterranean slows down, with softer light and quieter streets. A Serene Mediterranean sails from November 2026 through March 2027, reaching Sicily, Tunisia, the Greek Islands, Iberia and the Atlantic coast, and adds four- and five-night itineraries for travelers short on time.
