Regent Seven Seas have announced the construction of an all new cruise ship to be launch in 2020. Yet to be named, the new ship will be the sister vessel of the Seven Seas Explorer currently under construction and set to debut in July this year.

The Explorer-class ships are the first all-new builds for Regent Seven Seas in 14-years. The line tell CruiseOyster that the newly commissioned 422-million Euro vessel will build on build on the run away success of the Seven Seas Explorer which is nearing the end of construction and has been dubbed as the most luxurious ship the world has ever seen.

Guests can anticipate exquisite gourmet dining, plush lounges and spacious accommodations on the newly commissioned vessel, including a Regent Suite, a new class of ultra-luxurious suite that will debut on the Seven Seas Explorer.

Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises told us: “The extraordinary demand generated by Seven Seas Explorer, including record-breaking booking volumes, reinforced our decision to expand our fleet with an additional ship that mirrors the same incredibly high standards of luxury.”

Regent Seven Seas new ship will be constructed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. More details of the new ship will be announced at a later date.
