When Seven Seas Splendor debuts in early 2020 she will feature chic new accommodations and opulent public areas. In fact Regent Seven Seas Cruises tell us that everything has been designed to exceed expectations.

Seven Seas Splendor will be the second in the Explorer-class of vessels for Regent. New design features will be added since the original Seven Seas Explorer debuted two years ago, with company boss Jason Montague saying they are focused on perfecting every detail.

In our view these new design features are more of an evolution than a revolution. The biggest changes will see the Grand Staircase moved to face the Compass Rose restaurant, and Coffee Connection moved to the port side. Coffee Connection will also get a new al fresco seating area.

Some suite categories will also get a contemporary new look on Seven Seas Splendor, in particular the Veranda, Deluxe, Superior and Concierge Suites.

The Veranda Suites will get a new lighter decor.

There will be space for 750 guests in 375 luxurious suites, and some of these suites will be the largest afloat.

The Regent Suite is the biggest - equal in size to a luxurious home.

Our favourite suites are the Concierge with its extra deep veranda, and the enormous Grand Suite with its prized midship location.

Jason Montague insists the refinements will make his new ship a winner. “Everything on board the ship is designed to provide a sophisticated yet comfortable retreat for our guests, and we’re confident that they’ll appreciate the attention to detail that has been put into perfecting the newest ship in our fleet.”

We have to agree. When Seven Seas Splendor debuts in 2020 she is sure to set a new standard for luxury cruising.

Reservations for Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural season open 12 April 2018. For more details visit the Seven Seas Splendor webpage.
