It could be the most luxurious suite afloat. The opulent Grand Wintergarden Suite on the yet to sail Seabourn Encore will debut in late 2016. The line has released details and a rendering of this magnificent suite. Guests lucky enough to call it home will sail in the lap of luxury.

Seabourn is boasting the Grand Wintergarden Suite will offer exquisite comfort and ample room to entertain with a variety of unique in-suite amenities and features. A private glassed-in Solarium with a soaking tub and day bed is sure to impress and a generous 23sq.m. / 250 sq.ft. veranda with all-weather table and chairs will make a perfect setting for al fresco dining.

The layout

Located on deck 8, there will be two Grand Wintergarden Suites on Seabourn Encore. Each will provide nearly 144 sq.m. / 1,550 sq.ft. of combined indoor and outdoor space. The suites will feature large windows offering picture-perfect ocean and shore views, two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two private verandas, dining for six, a convertible sofa-bed, pantry with wet bar and espresso machine, and three flat-screen televisions.

Christopher Prelog, Seabourn Vice President of Hotel Operations, said he wanted guests to think of the Grand Wintergarden Suites as spacious vacation homes: “Seabourn Encore’s Grand Wintergarden Suites will be two of the most beautiful and striking suites in ultra-luxury travel. Like a spacious vacation home, guests will enjoy superb amenities.”

Ultra-luxury bathrooms

The line promises the suite bathrooms will radiate elegance, with a separate whirlpool tub and shower, polished stone, gleaming hardware and mirrors, as well as exclusive bath products from Molton Brown.

Guests residing in the Grand Wintergarden Suites could be forgiven for never wanting to leave their room!

Grand Wintergarden Suite extras

An array of added amenities are also on offer to guests in the Grand Wintergarden Suites and other premium suites, including personalised service by the Guest Service Manager, private car transfers on embarkation and disembarkation, complimentary Internet service, daily newspaper delivered to the suite, plush bathrobes, large tropical fruit basket, beautiful fresh flowers and extended in-suite reference library.

Luxury will abound on Seabourn Encore with highly personalised service for just 600 guests with close to one staff member for each guest on board. In addition, every suite will feature a private veranda and the 40,350 gross tonne ship will be configured with expanded public areas and one deck more than the existing Odyssey class vessels.

Seabourn Encore’s maiden season will launch from Athens in December 2016, offering two pre-inaugural cruises exploring the exotic coasts of Israel, Arabia, India and Southeast Asia. The Encore will be named at a gala ceremony in Singapore in January 2017.
