When the itinerary is yours alone

For the seasoned luxury traveler who has exhausted the highlights of continental Europe, Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast continues to hold a quiet, almost defiant appeal. The medieval walls of Dubrovnik, the luminous water around Hvar, the labyrinthine backstreets of Korčula—these are places that reward depth over speed, time over ticking boxes. And yet even the most carefully constructed group tour cannot deliver what a private charter can: the complete liberation from someone else’s schedule.

Unforgettable Croatia—an award-winning specialist luxury travel company operating since 2015—has announced that its fleet of six small ships is available for private charter throughout the 2027 season, running from May through October. It is an announcement aimed squarely at the discerning traveler for whom a standard cabin booking, however luxurious, no longer cuts it.

The ship is yours

Each vessel accommodates up to 36 guests across as many as 18 cabins, many with private balconies. On deck, a swim platform, jacuzzi, and sun deck define the rhythm of the days at sea. Air-conditioning throughout keeps the heat of a Croatian summer comfortably at bay. Nine dedicated crew members operate and service each charter—meaning the ratio of staff to guests is notably attentive by any measure.

Departures operate from Split or Dubrovnik, with itineraries threading through some of the Adriatic’s most prized ports of call: Hvar, Trogir, Vis, Korčula, Slano, and Ston. Voyages run five to seven nights, long enough to settle into the particular cadence of Dalmatian life without feeling rushed, short enough to remain a genuinely focused experience.

Built around your group

The true distinction of a private charter lies not in the vessel itself but in what it enables. Unforgettable Croatia’s team works with charter groups to design bespoke itineraries shaped around the interests of the party—whether that means deep dives into Roman and Venetian history, a focused exploration of Dalmatian gastronomy, or simply the freedom to linger longer in a harbor that caught the group’s imagination that morning.

Shore excursions, restaurant bookings, and pre- and post-cruise hotel arrangements are all managed as part of the charter planning process. Included as standard are daily buffet breakfasts, three-course set lunches, daily cabin service, swim stops, complimentary Wi-Fi, and private arrival and departure transfers.

“Private charters are proving increasingly popular as groups look for more personalized travel experiences. Our cruises can be tailored to the interests of the group—including culture, gastronomy, history and nature—creating an experience that goes far beyond a standard package.”

Graham Carter, co-founder of Unforgettable Croatia.

The gulet option: intimacy at a smaller scale

For groups on the more intimate end of the spectrum, Unforgettable Croatia also operates a fleet of more than 12 luxury yachts and gulets, accommodating between nine and 21 passengers on private seven-night itineraries. The gulet—a traditional wooden sailing vessel native to the Adriatic and Aegean—offers an even more personal register, a mode of travel that feels closer to the sea and to the coastline it moves along.

The cost of having it all to yourself

Private ship charters are priced from USD106,000 per week for the full vessel—a figure that, divided across a group of close friends or extended family, can represent compelling value when measured against the alternative: a week of negotiated compromises aboard a shared ship, subject to the preferences of travelers you’ve never met.

For those who have already seen much of what Europe has to offer from land, the Dalmatian Coast by private charter offers something genuinely different. Not merely a new destination, but a fundamentally new way of moving through one.
