The Seven Seas Splendor maiden voyage is here. In fact, the newest ship in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet has set sail and is now en route from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, USA. 

The maiden voyage will call at Cádiz in the Mediterranean before sailing the Atlantic to Funchal and then San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Seven Seas Splendor is the fifth ship in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet. She has room for 750 guests making her a mid-sized luxury cruise ship.

There are 375 beautifully appointed suites, all of which have private verandas making them perfect for enjoying the ocean views. The entry level Veranda Suites measure 28 sq. m. / 301 sq. ft. in size. However the top of the range Regent Suite has 412 sq. m. / 4434 sq. ft. of space. Indeed, it’s like an opulent Manhattan-style apartment. 

The brand-new vessel has five different restaurants to choose from. There is the outstanding Chartreuse French restaurant as well as the signature main dining room called Compass Rose. In addition, La Veranda restaurant has unique overwater dining alcoves that protrude from the side of the ship.

Seven Seas Splendor is sure to be a foodies destination in its own right. Indeed, the ship has its own Culinary Arts Kitchen. A state of the art teaching kitchen where guests can learn to prepare the local cuisine of the places they visit.

There are three elegant lounges on Seven Seas Splendor including a magnificent Splendor Lounge. There is also the ever popular Observation Lounge which has panoramic views from its position high at the front of the ship.

After the Seven Seas Splendor maiden voyage there will be a glittering christening ceremony in Miami. It will be presided over by the ship’s godmother, legendary supermodel and actress Christie Brinkley.

Seven Seas Splendor will then sail to San Diego before setting course for Europe later in 2020.
