Nautica Nightlife Review
The Lounge is the theatre on board Oceania Nautica. It is the heart and soul of Nautica nightlife. Each evening either the resident cast or special guest artists perform exciting shows, usually to packed houses!
The shows in The Lounge vary from night to night. They can be either bold, thrilling, nostalgic, upbeat, or sophisticated. When we sailed they were a mix of 60s-style Americana, with an occasional dose of faith thrown in as well.
There is bar service in The Lounge prior to and during performances.
By day Horizons is Nautica’s elegant observation lounge. With floor-to-ceiling windows it has terrific views. However, by night Horizons is transformed into one of the most exciting Nautica bars.
Horizons takes on a party atmosphere and is the perfect place to catch up with friends, or make some moves on the dance floor. In fact each night features a difference dance theme – from 70’s flashbacks to the hits of today.
Marinis bar, as the name suggests, serve lots of martinis. Here the classic cocktail has so many twists you’re sure to find something to tickle your taste buds!
Martinis has an old-world ambiance that reminds us of a gentleman’s club. There are comfortable sofas as well as high-back chairs. There is also live piano music each night and the resident pianist is happy to take requests.
Martinis is next to the casino, which some people may find this bothersome.
The Grand Bar – one of the most popular Nautica bars
The Grand Bar is just outside The Grand Dining Room. As such, it can be one of the busiest Nautica bars. It is the perfect place for a pre-dinner glass of Champagne or a cocktail. There are plenty of comfy sofas as well as seats at the bar. The atmosphere is always lively and really adds to the Nautica nightlife vibe. You are sure to meet up with fellow guests on the way to dinner.
