The worlds first all-suite, all-balcony luxury cruise liner has been reimagined. The Seven Seas Mariner refurb is complete. As we previously reported, Seven Seas Mariner was due for a big refit this year, and now it has been spectacularly transformed, looking better than new.

The iconic Regent Seven Seas Cruises vessel went in for the 20-day dry dock renovation last month. No part of the cruise ship was left untouched. Every suite was redesigned and all the public areas were made over. In some cases they were entirely remodelled.

When Seven Seas Mariner entered service in 2001 she quickly gained a loyal following among luxury cruisers. The Seven Seas Mariner refurb has now elevated the ship to the level of elegance set by the line’s flagship Seven Seas Explorer – something every guest is sure to appreciate.

Enhanced dining experiences

Among the major changes is the arrival of Chartreuse restaurant, already a guest favourite aboard Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Voyager. It replaces Signatures and has a menu that highlights modern French cuisine.

Compass Rose has also been completely reimagined with a stunning new look. There are crystal chandeliers, rich wooden accents and celestial blue furnishings.

The Prime 7 steakhouse has also been totally remodelled with unique, rectangular light fixtures that are reminiscent of a sculpture across the ceiling.

A new resort-style pool deck

Up on the pool deck there has been another big redesign. The space has been given a new open layout and the beautiful teak decking has been renewed. There are also new plush day beds.

However, the centrepiece has to be the new mosaic-tiled pool, with its broad ledge for lounging in the shallows.

The Canyon Ranch Spa has also received a soothing new design, so too have the Card Room and Boutiques.

Impressive new suites

Leaving no detail untouched, every suite on Seven Seas Mariner has been entirely redesigned. Among the many enhancements are plush new padded leather headboards, sitting areas furnished with comfortable new sofas and accent tables, as well as new artwork.

Of course every single suite onboard Seven Seas Mariner also boasts a private teak veranda – the perfect place to relax with a glass of Champagne as the sun sets.

Fleet-wide refit now complete

The Seven Seas Mariner refurb marks the final phase of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ US$125 million refurbishment program. Now all the cruise ships in the fleet share the same ultra-luxuirious amenities.

“With the culmination of our fleet-wide refurbishment program, and with the construction of Seven Seas Splendor underway, we are perfecting luxury and indeed have the most luxurious fleet at sea”, said Regent boss Jason Montague.

With the Seven Seas Mariner refurb complete the ship is repositioning to the Pacific Northwest to take travellers on 15 unforgettable 7 to 11-night immersive, Alaska itineraries. For more details visit the Regent Seven Seas website.
