Regent Seven Seas have today revealed details of the lavishly appointed spa planned for their new uber-luxe Seven Seas Explorer. The line is promising a spa experience to rival the worlds best land-based spas.

Seven Seas have partnered with luxury spa brand Canyon Ranch Resort for the new Seven Seas Explorer retreat which will be known as The Canyon Ranch SpaClub. It will be located on deck 5 at the back of the ship and offer panoramic views to the horizon.

Canyon Ranch SpaClub will boast elegant design and decor features including crisscrossing light-grained wooden bands evoking silk wrappings. Natural finishings are intended to radiate a warm and welcoming softness, creating a sense of serenity and relaxation.

The Canyon Ranch SpaClub will offer a selection of ultra-luxurious treatments inspired by the seas of the world including a 100-minute, six-part massage body ritual called Red Flower Japan: A Revitalizing Ritual of the North Pacific. Perfected in Japan, the treatment begins with a ginger grass and bamboo scrub followed by a nutrient-rich rice bran wrap and acupressure facial massage. A mineral soak infused with hinoki and chlorophyll oils and a shiatsu-inspired massage creates balanced energy.

After a luxurious treatment, guests are invited to use a thermal suite where a variety of hot-to-cold sensations await. A state-of-the-art infrared sauna and aromatic steam room are sure to ease tired muscles and relax the mind. While a cold room maintains a constant temperature of 12°C (54°F), mimicking cold plunges that stimulate circulation and are believed to improve health.

Even the shower room will offer guests a range of luxe shower treatments with various distributions of water flow, chroma-therapeutic lighting and audio effects that mimic natural sounds such as thunderstorms or waterfalls.

Part of the spa, but located on a private outdoor deck, is an inviting teak-deck terrace filled with plush, partially covered lounge chairs that surround an infinity-edge plunge pool. Guests are treated to incredible views across the sea to the horizon as they soak in the therapeutic waters of the pool.

The Seven Seas Explorer will debut on 20 July 2016 sailing from Monte Carlo to Venice.
