Silver Spirit Pool
The Silver Spirit pool deck is like a floating oasis. There is a sparkling pool, three whirlpool hot tubs, a teak deck and plenty of padded sun loungers. So it’s the perfect place to relax and let the poolside staff spoil you.
Indeed, pampering is the order of the day around the Silver Spirit pool. The staff help lay out your beach towel. They replenish your still or sparkling water. They will offer you iced fruit treats and special cocktails. In fact, you can have any beverage delivered right to your sun lounger.
The pool was modified during the renovation in 2018. Sadly, it is not quite as attractive as it once was. Gone are the mosaic tiles and the beautiful teak edging. That said, it’s still a delightfully refreshing dip.
The temperature in the Silver Spirit pool is set to approximately 27ºC / 80ºF.
Silver Spirit Spa
Fragrant zagara flowers cover the Amalfi Coast of Italy each spring. These orange blossums lend their name to the Zagara Beauty Spa on Silver Spirit.
Indeed, the Zagara Beauty Spa is a haven for the senses. The treatments are designed to awaken an awareness of the mind, body and soul.
The world-class Zagara Beauty Spa has a range of indulgent treatments including massage, facials and manicures as well as acupuncture. There is a relaxing thermal suite as well as a thalassotherapy pool, unisex sauna and steam room.
The Silver Spirit spa also has a hair salon with a full range of services for women and men.
It is important to note that spa treatments are not part of your cruise fare. Also, bookings are essential, especially on sea days when the spa gets busy.
Silver Spirit gym
The Silver Spirit gym is small, but well equipped. There are free-weights as well as weight machines, treadmills, elliptical trainers and even bikes on the outside deck.
The Silver Spirit gym also has a separate space for aerobics, yoga and pilates. There are free classes most mornings. These are advertised in the Daily Chronicles newsletter.
In addition, a personal trainer is available for hire on an hourly or daily basis.
Silver Spirit jogging track
There is a great jogging track on Silver Spirit. It has uninterupted views and enjoys a refreshing sea breeze.
The jogging track loops around the top deck from the Saccanapoli restaurant, past the pool to the back of the cruise ship. Ten laps is equal to 1 mile.
