Silversea have announced that international bestselling author Thomas Keneally will be special guest on the newly refurbished Silver Whisper during the World Cruise 2017.

Keneally, whose most famous book became the Oscar winning film Schindler’s List, will be guest enrichment lecturer on the Melbourne to Bali (Benoa) leg of Silver Whisper’s annual World Cruise.

The Australian born Keneally is a critically acclaimed novelist, playwright, and essayist. He has published more than 30 novels and screenplays, has won The Booker Prize and boasts fan mail from none other than Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton.

World Cruise 2017 is an exclusive 116-day ocean voyage from San Francisco to Monte Carlo aboard Silver Whisper. Thomas Keneally will join the voyage for a 13-day sector departing Melbourne on 9 February 2017. Guest will experience the stunning scenery of the southern coastline of Australia before reaching Perth and then sailing into the tropical wonderland that is Indonesia.
