Queen Elizabeth Queen’s Grill Nightlife Review

The Grills Lounge

The Queen Elizabeth Grills Lounge is reserved for Grills guests. It is an intimate bar with lovely ocean views. Indeed, the Grills Lounge is most popular for sunset drinks.

The Grills Lounge is a popular sunset meeting place.

The Grills Lounge is a popular sunset meeting place.

The Queen Elizabeth Grills Lounge is located next to the Queen’s Restaurant, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or Champagne.

The libations available in the Grills Lounge are similar to those on offer in other bars and lounges, however the service is more polished and attentive. In addition, complimentary canapés are served each evening.

The Grills concierge can also be found in the Grills Lounge for a few hours each morning and afternoon.

Other nightlife options

The Royal Court Theatre

The Royal Court Theatre is the focal point of entertainment onboard Queen Elizabeth. Indeed, there are performances in the Royal Court Theatre almost every night.

The performances include full cast shows as well as entertainment by guest artist. The standard of the performances is generally very good, especially the cast shows.

The Royal Court Theatre is just like a West End theatre. There are stalls, a dress circle and even exclusive boxes for hire. Hiring a box is a real treat and includes Champagne and chocolates. The cost is US$60 per box.

The Commodore’s Club

The Commodore’s Club is a Cunard classic. It is located at the front of the ship with commanding 180-degree views to the horizon.

But what really shines is the list of libations exclusive to the Commodore’s Club. In fact, these one-of-a-kind cocktails are available nowhere else onboard and they are often prepared table-side.

In the evening the Commodore’s Club has live music with a pianist who happily takes requests.

Midships Bar

The Midships Bar is charming. As the name suggests it is located midship (on deck three). There are lots of comfortable sofas and some quiet nooks for romantic conversations.

The Midships Bar serves delightful libations including Champagne and unique gin creations. There is often live string music in the early afternoon or evening.

The Yacht Club

The Queen Elizabeth disco is called the Yacht Club. It has a D.J. who spins the latest pop hits as well as disco favourites. The Yacht Club is located near the Commodore’s Club and has views over the Pavilion Pool.
