The first new Silver Spirit pictures have been revealed. Ultra-luxury cruise line Silversea released the images to show off the remarkable transformation of their 600-guest cruise ship.

In May this year the Silver Spirit was quite literally cut in half and lengthened, with the insertion of a 49-foot long prefabricated section. While this was happening teams of workers poured over the rest of the ship replacing and remodelling almost everything.

Perhaps the area where guests will notice the biggest change is around the pool deck. It is here that the ship was cut in two. As a result the pool deck is much bigger – in fact the pool itself is large enough for a spacious beach area!

Dining onboard Silver Spirit has also been given a major makeover. It now shares the same 8-venue concept as the flagship Silver Muse. However, that meant The Restaurant had to go. In its place on deck 4 are the Asian-accented Indochine and the seafoodies delight Atlantides.

Also new on Silver Spirit are Le Dame and Seishin which have replaced Le Champagne and the original Japanese restaurant.

The much-loved Stars Supper Club has evolved to become Silver Note, but it still serves the same wonderful mix of fine dining and entertainment.

A traditional pizzeria called Spaccanapoli has also been added to Silver Spirit on deck 10.

Every suite onboard Silver Spirit has been entirely remodelled as well. The decor is more contemporary, with the same look and feel as the Silver Muse.

There have also been big changes throughout Silver Spirit’s public areas, revealing a refined and elegant new decor. For full details visit the Silversea website.
