Luxury cruise line Silversea have revealed a range of history making voyages to Cuba. For the first time in the company’s history many of these Silversea Cuba voyages will depart from the United States.

There are 17 voyages which will unlock authentic experiences for Silversea’s guests. Each one promises to showcase the best of the country through immersive land excursions in various destinations. The first 5 of these are now open for reservation. The remaining 12 will open up in the near future.

Other cruise lines have already announce Cuba itineraries too. Seabourn will begin sailing there in late 2019, while Regent Seven Seas and Oceania will both arrive later this year. The first Silversea Cuba sailing will take place in February 2019 aboard the intimate Silver Wind.

Silver Wind’s Cuba debut is perfectly timed. The 298-guest cruise ship will have just emerged from an enhanced dry dock refit – part of Silversea’s fleet-wide refurbishment program known as ‘Project Invictus’.

Silver Wind will set sail on 14 February 2019 on a 7-night voyage from San Juan to Fort Lauderdale. The itinerary will include visits to the Cuban cities of Havana and Santiago de Cuba, as well as the Bahamian island of Bimini.

The newly refurbished Silver Spirit will join Silver Wind in Cuba from 22 February 2019 for a 10-night journey that includes an overnight in Santiago de Cuba.

Silver Whisper will sail to Cuba too, departing Fort Lauderdale in November 2019 for a round-trip voyage that also includes calls in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize City and Key West. By that time Silver Whisper will have been refurbished as well.
