Explora status match: Recognition for seasoned cruisers
Explora Journeys believe your dedication to luxury cruising deserves immediate recognition. So the Explora status match program allows loyal cruisers to transfer their hard-earned status from other premium cruise loyalty programs directly to Explora Journeys. No waiting period, no initial sailing requirement – just seamless recognition of your travel preferences and history.
How the Explora status match process works
The Explora status match enrollment process recognises your existing relationship with premium cruise brands. Upon verification, members receive placement in the corresponding Explora Club tier along with the minimum points threshold for that level.
Guests can submit their status match request during initial Club enrollment, through their My Explora profile, or with assistance from the Explora Experience Centre. Documentation of your current loyalty tier is required, with most requests processed within 10 business days. Each guest may submit just one lifetime status match request, whether before booking, after reserving, or following your first Explora voyage.

Important Explora status match details
Acceptable proof includes a scan, photo, or screenshot of your current MSC Voyagers Club membership or equivalent status with other eligible luxury cruise brands. When gaining an Explora status match before sailing but after booking, benefits apply immediately and/or while onboard. Requests processed after sailing will place you in the matched tier without including points from previous voyages.
