Internationally-acclaimed Italian operatic trio Il Volo will treat Silversea guests to an exclusive performance onboard Silver Spirit this November.
The platinum-selling “popera” singers who shot to fame in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest are baritone Gianluca Ginoble and tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto. Silversea tell us they will perform their unique blend of pop and traditional English, Italian and Spanish songs for which they are renowned the world over.
The group already have five albums, the most recent of which was released last year. Called “Notte Magica” is a tribute to the original three tenors Domingo, Carreras and Pavarotti and features recordings with Plácido Domingo.

Il Volo will sail on Silver Spirit’s voyage from Barcelona to Rome departing 3 November 2017. The itinerary will see Silver Spirit call at the beautiful Italian islands of Sardinia and Sicily, as well as Malta and the enticingly frenetic city of Naples.

The Silversea Il Volo performance will take place on the evening of 7 November as Silver Spirit sails from Palermo to Valetta. The ultra-luxury line assure us it will be a night to remember.
Big name international artists are no strangers to Silversea. Indeed some, like Andrea Boccelli, have performed for the ultra-luxury cruise line on a number of voyages.
