Crystal’s forthcoming flagship introduces a residential-scale sanctuary that redefines luxury ocean travel.

When Crystal Grace launches in May 2028, the vessel will debut something unprecedented in the line’s storied history: an Owner’s Suite that blurs the distinction between yacht ownership and cruise travel. Spanning 1,950 square feet of interior space matched with an equally impressive 1,965-square-foot veranda, this residential-scale accommodation represents Crystal’s most ambitious suite offering to date.

A home designed for the horizon

The suite’s layout reads like a luxury apartment specification rather than a ship’s stateroom. The living room features walnut floors, custom wool carpets, and handcrafted cabinetry arranged around a working fireplace – a rarity at sea.

A state-of-the-art Hi-Fi entertainment system extends throughout both interior and exterior spaces, controlled by dual LES touch panels that allow guests to orchestrate their sonic environment across multiple zones.

The dining area benefits from panoramic ocean views, supported by a butler pantry for seamless service.

The master bedroom offers flexibility with king-size or twin bed configurations, complemented by walk-in closets that acknowledge the extended voyages Crystal’s clientele typically undertake.

Italian marble and ocean spray

The master bathroom’s full Lasa marble lining – sourced from the same Italian quarries that supplied Michelangelo – culminates in a freestanding Jacuzzi positioned for soaking with sea views.

The veranda extends the suite’s living space with its own whirlpool and shower, outdoor dining area, and the same sophisticated audio system, creating what amounts to a private deck club.

An unexpected amenity speaks to the suite’s residential philosophy: a Technogym Bike Personal, designed by Antonio Citterio. This sculptural exercise equipment integrates bespoke coaching programming and entertainment, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routines while watching the world drift past their windows.

Signature details and tailored service

Throughout the suite, precious turquoise quartzite details embedded in custom furniture pieces provide a material expression of Crystal’s signature color. The design team selected exceptionally fine fabrics chosen specifically to enhance what they describe as the space’s “residential, tactile and intimate quality.”

“We’re introducing a suite that goes beyond expectations. From its elegant interiors to its seamless technology and personalized services, this suite embodies what makes Crystal distinctive: attention to every detail and an elevated way of life at sea.”

Cristina Levis, CEO of AKTG, Crystal’s parent company.

Setting sail in 2028

The Owner’s Suite represents the pinnacle of Crystal Grace’s all-suite, all-veranda design philosophy, which extends across every stateroom category on the vessel. The ship is scheduled for delivery in May 2028, with her inaugural voyage departing June 11, 2028. The addition continues Crystal’s evolution following AKTG’s 2022 acquisition of the brand and its $170 million refurbishment of sister ships Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, which brought partnerships with Casino de Monte-Carlo, Nobu, and Beefbar to the fleet.

For those seeking the space and personalization of private yacht ownership combined with Crystal’s renowned service standards and global itineraries, the Owner’s Suite charts a course toward a new category of ocean travel entirely.
