The world renowned Bolshoi Ballet is set to dazzle the Silversea entertainment line up with a unqiue Silversea-Bolshoi partnership.
The ultra-luxury cruise line will welcome Daria Khokhlova and Artemy Belyakov (pictured), ballet solo performers of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, for an exclusive engagement aboard the Silver Spirit during its Mediterranean cruise departing on 19 August 2015.
Silversea-Bolshoi partnership free of charge
Premium tickets to the Bolshoi Ballet cost in excess of US$200 each, but Silversea guests will be treated to these intimate performances free of additional charge. The dance stars will appear on stage in the ship’s elegant Show Lounge for three performances during the nine-day roundtrip voyage from Istanbul, which will visit iconic ports in Greece and Turkey.
Acclaimed artists
Daria Khokhlova joined the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre in 2009. Her repertoire includes such roles as Marie in The Nutcracker, the Ballerina in Petrushka, Princess Florina in Sleeping Beauty, and Olga in Onegin, to name a few. She is renowned for her performance as Ophelia in Hamlet.
Artemy Belyakov, whose notable roles include, among others, Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty, Lensky in Onegin, and the Evil Genius in Swan Lake, joined the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre in 2010.
