Indeed, it is a luxury one-bedroom apartment. There is a tastefully furnished living room as well as a separate king-sized bedroom and a marbled Jacuzzi bathroom. It’s ideal for those who like extra space.

But that’s not all. Also included are luxury enhancements designed to make life even sweeter. There is a stereo system and coffee machine, as well as free laundry and free premium wifi. In addition you will often benefit from priority restaurant reservations too.

When you stay in a Silver Spirit Silver Suite it feels like you’re part of an exclusive club. There are just thirty-two Silver Suites and almost all are located on the most private, top two decks of the ship.

Insiders tip: Six of the Silver Suites have a different decor (850, 851, 1014, 1015, 1116, 1117). These look almost identical to the Silver Muse Silver Suites. They form part of the new group of suites that was added to Silver Spirit during the renovation in 2018.

Silver Suite floor plan

The Silver Spirit Silver Suite is very spacious. In fact each suite has 57 sq. m. / 613 sq. ft. of internal space, as well as a terrace-sized veranda measuring 12 sq. m. / 129 sq. ft.

The Silver Spirit Silver Suite floor plan includes an elegant living room that leads on to a large teak veranda. Behind the living room is the master bedroom as well as a marble bathroom with separate toilet.

I think this cleverly designed floor pan enhances the sense of space and luxury living.

A great living room

The Silver Spirit Silver Suite is generously proportioned and filled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead on to the veranda.

There are eye-catching designer touches as well as modern art on the walls. The decor is tasteful in tones of teal, cream and dove grey. There are light timber accents and splashes of crimson in the soft furnishings. It’s all very smart.

The space is uncluttered. At one end is a dining table while at the other is a comfortable sofa and two high-back armchairs. The living room also has a study area with a writing desk as well as a mini-bar and in-suite Illy Espresso machine.

Interactive entertainment is just a click away thanks to a wall-mounted 49-inch flat-screen television. Plus, there is also a Bose Sound Touch 30 speaker system with Bluetooth connectivity.

A terrace-style veranda

The terrace-style teak veranda is a real treat. It is a private hideaway. A haven where you can sunbathe, relax or enjoy a romantic al fresco dinner.

There is ample space to relax on the teak veranda.

The veranda measures 12 sq. m. / 129 sq. ft. with room for a dining table and chairs as well as a sun lounger. In fact, your butler will ensure there are always beach towels ready for use on the terrace.

Tranquil bedroom

Separated from the living room by a set of sliding doors, the bedroom is an oasis of serenity. It has either a king or twin-bed setup – the choice is yours. The luxurious bed linens are by Pratesi of Italy and the mattress is one of the most comfortable at sea. In addition, there is also an extensive pillow menu, so you’re sure to have a restful sleep.

The separate bedroom is a haven of tranquility.

On either side of the bed are night stands with generous storage spaces. There are also bedside lamps and multi-directional reading lights as well as European and US power points.

It’s also worth noting that the Silver Spirit Silver Suite bedroom has a large flat-screen television of its own, as well as a makeup table and vanity area.

Marbled bathroom

The bathroom in the Silver Spirit Silver Suite has real wow factor! It is covered in Italian marble with mosaic tile accents as well as gleaming chrome fittings.

Relax in your own Jacuzzi bath.

The spa-style bathroom includes a couples Jacuzzi tub and a separate rainwater shower. There is also a generous double-basin vanity with lots of storage space. The toilet – which doubles as a powder room – is located just off the bathroom and also has its own basin and vanity.

Silver Suite guests have a choice of bath products. There is Bvlgari as well as the delightfully fragranced Ortigia Sisilia. In addition there are hypoallergenic products available. Also, Silver Suites come with Etro bathrobes and Silversea slippers.

Storage

The Silver Spirit Silver Suite has enough storage space for about four cases full of clothing. Indeed, there is an extra large walk-in closet (accessable from the bedroom as well as the hall).

There is plenty of storage space in the closet.

There are also lots of drawers as well as shelving for delicate items too. An electronic safe has special compartments for jewellery and other valuables.

Once you have unpacked there is plenty of room under the bed for storing cases. Although some large hard shell cases may need to be opened out to fit under the bed.

Location of the Silver Suites

There are thirty-two luxurious Silver Suites on Silver Spirit. All but two of them are located on decks 10 and 11. Indeed, their position high above the water ensures spectacular ocean views. The other two Silver Suites are located next to the Owner’s Suite on deck 8.

I have been upgraded to a Silver Suite on Silver Spirit, not a great experience for me. Wifi is terrible, service is bad and we are away from any coffee stations. I myself would not travel on Silversea again, but much prefer other smaller ships like Viking.
