Norwegian Cruise Line is famous for its onboard entertainment, including full-scale Broadway musicals. Today NCL has announced guests will be able to see the smash hit musical Jersey Boys on Norwegian Bliss when she debuts in 2018.
The Tony Award® winning Jersey Boys has been seen by over 20 million people in 10 countries, including America, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea and South Africa. Now Norwegian Bliss guests can see it too.
Jersey Boys will play in the Bliss Theatre. The show tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. It follows the four blue-collar boys working their way up from the streets of Newark to the heights of stardom. Jersey Boys on Norwegian Bliss will feature all of their hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Working My Way Back To You.”
Not content with one hit show on Norwegian Bliss, the line is developing a brand new musical in conjunction with Tony Award®-winning director and choreographer Warren Carlyle. The exclusive original musical theatre show will be a Cuban-inspired Broadway-style musical featuring electrifying dance, colourful pageantry and sensational sounds developed by some of the most sought-after names on Broadway today.
Norwegian Bliss is currently under construction in Papenburg, Germany. The 4,000 guest mega-ship will set sail in June 2018. Norwegian Bliss will be the third ship in NCL’s Breakaway-Plus class and will be the first cruise ship custom-built with features and amenities for the Alaska cruise market. During her inaugural summer season Norwegian Bliss will sail weekly seven-day Alaska cruises.
