Marvellous South Pacific

My wife and I flew out from the UK to board the Queen Victoria for her journey from Los Angeles to Australia. To say the cruise was exceptional hardly seems enough! We were Grills and had a lovely Princess Grills suite which has a large veranda – ideal for enjoying to tropical South Pacific air....

The Magic of Cruising with Disney

We took our three children (then aged 4, 5 and 13) for a seven night Caribbean Cruise and still today we all rave about it! Given we live on the Gold Coast, we didn’t see much point in going to a Disney theme park so opted instead for the cruise not really expecting too much....

Not for everyone

Having recently travelled on Celebrity Solstice from Sydney to Honolulu I thought it might be interesting to tell the pros & cons. Firstly the ship is huge so understandably there are a lot of people – it lacks intimacy – especially when trying to find a quiet place for a drink & listen to music...

Paradise in the South Pacifific

I loved my experience on the Sliver Shadow where I was lucky enough to sail from San Francisco to Papeete on a 21 day cruise! To be honest the trip was rough at times as we sailed through a storm just outside of San Francisco, but I don’t have a problem with se-sickness, so I...

Bali to Singapore

This was our first Crystal Cruise (previous Silversea and Seabourn). It was OK, but definitely not top-notch. We thought the rooms were a bit pokey for the money we paid. Also the food was bit-and-miss… we had some lovely meals, but others were just average.

Perfect Caribbean

Been sailing with Royal Caribbean for years now so they always look after us. Loved this latest cruise. The Oasis is an amazing ship with stunning rooms. We had a Loft Suite with incredible 2 story high floor to ceiling windows. The only thing to watch out for is that some of the dining spots...

Lovely honeymoon

My husband and I did a 10 night cruise on the Med for our (belated) honeymoon. I must say we were looking forward to it as many people has spoke highly of Silversea. The good bits first. The food onboard was stunning, especially Le Champaign (we ate there twice!). Our veranda suite was lovely too...
